Rates:  All our rates are per night, based on single or double occupancy, and include a glorious country breakfast.  Applicable tax is additional.  All rates and policies are subject to change.

Minimum Stay:   A minimum length of stay may apply.  Please inquire about specific dates.  During the high season there is a 3-night minimum stay on weekends and 2 night mid-week. Occasionally, in the off season, we will accept a 1-night stay on a weekend, and there are no minimum stay requirements midweek during the quiet season.  Often times, during the high season, there are rooms available for 1 or 2 nights between two reservations; if you have any questions about availability, please call us.

Deposits: Full deposits required for stays of 1-4 nights. 50% deposit required for stays 5 nights or longer with balance due upon arrival. Deposits will be refunded less 10% (total reservation) processing fee as long as cancellation is made at least 21-days prior to arrival date.

Check-in:  Check-in time is from 3 PM until 6 PM.

Late Arrival: Please call the Inn directly if you plan to arrive later than 6 PM and we will inform you of our Late Arrival procedure.

Cancellations:  Due to our small size, cancellations affect our boutique Chatham Inn significantly. We have a strict 21-day cancellation policy in place.  Cancellations for any reason whatsoever (cancelling in full or in part, meaning shortening the reservation) made within 21 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of any deposits, and the full amount due will be charged. Deposits will be refunded less 10% (total reservation) processing fee as long as cancellation/shortening is made at least 21 days prior to arrival date. A no-show, late arrival, or early departure due to any circumstance whatsoever, including weather is considered a cancellation, as is any change in arrival or departure dates.

We realize that cancellations are often beyond your personal control. Guests who have concerns about this may wish to consider Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption Insurance to protect yourselves against any and all unforeseen eventualities including sudden illness in the family, airline & boat cancellations, any weather-related reason, etc.  For this reason, we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. Pets: We love pets. However, we cannot accommodate them in the Inn.

Age Requirements:  Chatham Gables Inn is equipped to accommodate travelers ages 18 and above.

Excessive Cleaning / Damage In the rare event that a room or its contents are damaged due to extreme guest negligence, we must assess a cleaning or replacement charge equal to the fee needed to resolve the damage.
