All of the performances and events are held in Hyannis at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center. This massive building allows for many locals and visitors to enjoy their season. The Artistic Director and Conductor, Jung-Ho Pak has worked tirelessly to bring out the best in his orchestra of 75 musicians in the community. The Cape Cod Symphony also occasionally has world renowned artists visit and bring some exotic culture to Cape Cod. Some performers in the past have been cellist Yo-Yo Ma, The Vienna Boys Choir, and Celtic fiddler Eileen Ivers. The Cape Cod Symphony likes to inspire those with any interest in any form. In 2010 the Cape Cod Symphony merged with Cape Cod Conservatory of Music & Arts. This allowed for those interested in not only music but those who want to learn more about art and dance to attend Cape Conservatory. This isn’t just for older kids to adults, they also have an amazing preschool that starts kids off with a love of the arts with their arts-infused curriculum.
