Where Can You Find Cape Cod’s Top Fishing Charters?
Captain Bruce A. Peters at Capeshore Charters in Chatham is a 16th–generation Cape Cod native, so you can be sure he’s got all the knowledge you need to navigate the waters of the Cape! He and his family provide a safe, successful, and fun fishing trip for all groups. Board the Marilyn S., a 34-foot, open–decked lobster boat designed by Ernest Libby. It can carry six passengers and is equipped with the latest in safety and GPS technology.
Captain Bruce recommends using light fishing tackle so guests can feel the “fight of the fish.” His approach is about enjoying the catch and not hurrying through the process. For rates and fishing forecasts, contact Captain Bruce via his website!
Cape Cod Charters
Cape Cod Charters depart from Ryder’s Cove through Chatham’s Pleasant Bay to Monomoy Island. The remote island is a great place to reel in impressive Striped bass. They also offer light-tackle fishing charters for lobster, fluke, flounder, cod, and tuna!
You can embark on a charter from two to eight hours depending on the type of outing you’re looking for. For example, Captain Bob Miller and his boat, The Headhunter, offer smaller fishing charters of up to six people. The Headhunter travels from Stage Harbor in Chatham to Monomoy Island, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket Island. Aboard one of these charters, you may catch Striped bass, bluefish, and cod. Cod charters are the longest, lasting ten hours. Striped bass and bluefish fishing charters can be four, six or eight hours, depending on your preference.
Helen H. Deep Sea Fishing

Magellan Fishing Charters
Magellan Fishing Charters take guests to fish for Striped bass, tuna, and sharks. The Magellan sails out of Harwich Port with Captain Len Greiner and Captain Jason Pillbury at the helm! They have been running the charters for over 20 years, and will keep you entertained throughout the whole trip. Most importantly, their expertise will ensure you have a successful catch.
Cape Cod Family Charters
Are you traveling with your loved ones? Cape Cod Family Charters out of Barnstable Harbor specializes in fishing charters for families. Whether you’re experienced or haven’t fished before, you’ll have fun on one of these charters. Captain Robert Betti has two boats: The Escape is great for larger groups of up to six people and The Elizabeth B. accommodates three.
