A no-show, late arrival, or early departure due to any circumstance whatsoever, including weather is considered a cancellation, as is any change in arrival or departure dates.
We realize that cancellations are often beyond your personal control. Guests who have concerns about this may wish to consider Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption Insurance to protect yourselves against any and all unforeseen eventualities including sudden illness in the family, airline & boat cancellations, any weather-related reason, etc. For this reason, we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. Chatham Gables Inn will be happy to supply your travel insurance company with any needed documentation regarding our policy and your reservation. For insurance information, please click here.
